Springfield — Honda sales fell 4 percent in October compared to the same month in 2017, according to recent sales figures released by the company.Sales for the company through the first 10 months of this year are down about 2 percent compared to last year, although Honda hit an all-time sales record in 2017. Even though sales are down compared to last year, Honda said it was the company’s fourth best October sales month of all time. The auto maker, which is one of the region’s largest employers, also reported several bright spots. Honda saw truck sales climb slightly more than 5 percent compared to the same month last year.
