Penfield homicide: Email sparked investigation; Ford killed self with wife’s gun

Arnold Ford Jr., 52, of Penfield was found dead inside his vehicle with a self-inflicted gunshot wound just outside Erie, Pennsylvania, deputies said. The .40-caliber handgun inside Ford's vehicle was registered to his wife, Wendy Ford. The victim of the slaying inside the home at 89 Collingsworth Drive in Penfield has not yet been identified. But Wednesday, Chief Deputy Michael Fowler said the victim is Ford's wife. Deputies are still awaiting pending positive identification at the Medical Examiner's Office. .
